Description

This is a house, now divided into two separate dwellings. It largely dates to the early 18th century, with a north-west side constructed of painted brick and a hipped tiled roof. The building has an irregular plan, with the main house facing north-west and extending to the south-east, alongside a further wing aligned north-east/south-west that now comprises the farmhouse section. It is two storeys high, with attics and cellars. The north-west front features a string course and two dormer windows. There are three sash windows with glazing bars, and a central doorway with a six-panelled door having two glazed panels above, and a plain overlight. A two-storey canted bay window is visible on the right-hand return. The interior was not accessible during a resurvey in July 1986, but is reported to retain contemporary panelling and a staircase, as noted in the Royal Commission on Historic Monuments records.
