Description

The churchyard cross, located about 15 yards south-west of the south-east corner of the south porch of the Church of St Michael, is likely from the 14th century with later alterations. It is made of finely cut sandstone and has an octagonal shape. The base consists of three steps and features a trefoil-headed niche on the west side. Above this main base is a smaller octagonal base that supports an early 20th-century shaft and cross.
