MARSTOW CP SO 52 SE 6/86 Dovecot about 15 yards south-west of Glewstone Court

GV II

Dovecot. Probably C18, with early C20 repairs. Sandstone rubble with brick and concrete dressings. Square plan. Two storeys. East elevation has one semi-circular brick-headed opening to each floor, the upper one with two rows of entry holes; the lower one with a 2-light casement glazed in quarries beneath Y-tracery in the head. Entry from north side has ledged door in cambered brick arch. Concrete string runs around the top of the walls immediately below merlons. Included for group value.
