Description

This is a barn and attached wheelhouse located to the north of The Frith, dating from the 17th to 18th century. It features a timber frame clad with weatherboarding and has a corrugated iron roof. The structure consists of five bays and includes two square-headed cart entries. On the west side, there is a projecting wheelhouse or horse engine house, which is canted in plan and retains the central post structure of the mechanism.
