Description

These are two 18th-century buildings, stuccoed and arranged in three storeys. They have bands between the floors. The first and second floors feature six sash windows with glazing bars. Building number 4 has a well-preserved early 19th-century shop front, characterised by pilasters, a frieze, and a wide cornice. The shop front's large windows curve inwards over a central glazed and panelled door, topped with a rectangular fanlight. Building number 3 has a more modern shop front with a high fascia. Nos 1 to 4, along with the Royal Oak Hotel and numbers 6 to 11, form a group with numbers 2 to 8 (even) in New Street.
