Description

Number 6 on The Southend is an 18th-century building with a stuccoed exterior and a tiled hipped roof featuring brick dentil eaves. It stands three storeys tall and has one window. The second floor has a three-light casement window, while the first floor features a canted bay with sash windows. There is a Victorian shop window with a moulded wood cornice supported by carved console brackets, large window panes with glazing bars, and two adjoining doorways. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 4, the Royal Oak Hotel, and Nos 6 to 11 on The Southend, as well as Nos 2 to 8 on New Street.
