Description
This is a barn located about 20 yards west of Limebrook Cottage, likely built in the 17th or 18th century, with later alterations. It features a sandstone rubble plinth, weatherboarded timber-frame, and a Welsh slate roof. The barn has a rectangular three-bay layout oriented east to west. On the south side, there are two small openings, one on the left and one slightly to the left of center. A larger section to the right has a patch of corrugated iron in the weatherboarding. The plinth is battered. The north side includes the lower part of a central late 20th-century stable door. Inside, there are cambered ties and triple angle struts. The gable trusses each have three posts extending from the tie to the collar, which supports V-struts.
