Description

This is a 17th-century timber-frame barn located immediately south-east of Limes Farmhouse in Tibenham. The barn is weatherboarded and plastered, featuring a steep gable-ended roof covered with pantiles. It is positioned at right angles to the road, with its gable end featuring modern sliding doors. There are double doors at the center of the north-west side facing the farmyard, and a later lean-to is present on the opposite side. The roof truss includes collars, tiebeams with braces, and wind braces.
