Description

The Almshouses, dated 1846, are a row of single-storey almshouses located on Church Street in Tibenham. They are constructed with plaster over a brick plinth and feature a black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. The building has six three-light casement windows with glazing bars and drip moulds, along with four studded doors that also have drip moulds. Two small modern casement windows have been inserted. There are three brick chimney stacks evenly spaced along the ridge, with the central stack displaying a datestone marked "1846".
