Description
This tomb chest, located approximately 3 metres south of the porch of the Church of St John the Baptist, dates from the late 18th century and is made of sandstone. It features a moulded top that rises to a longitudinal ridge and has square baluster corners. The inscriptions on the tomb chest include "Wm Cooke late of Barrell ..... died ..... 1788".
