Description

This chest tomb, located approximately 10 metres east of the chancel of the Parish Church of St John the Baptist, dates from 1781 and 1801, as indicated by two inscriptions for a John Brickwood. It is made of limestone and features plain coping and a stepped plinth. The tomb has square balustered quoins and reeded pilasters that flank raised rectangular panels.
