Description

The Grange is a former vicarage, originally dating from the 17th century but remodelled in 1880. The Victorian house has an H-shaped plan and is constructed from rock-faced stone with a Collyweston stone roof. It stands two storeys high with an attic. The building features projecting gabled wings with three bays in between and a central gabled porch. On the front elevation, there is a 13th-century window that has been inserted, which includes two lancet lights beneath a quatrefoil, all set within a stone architrave that has a chevron carved drip head. The south end of the west wing retains some old walling.
