Description

The building is a dovecot located east-north-east of The Grange, likely dating from the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed from coursed stone with ashlar quoins. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with asbestos sheets, featuring gabled ends. At the center of the ridge, there is a later addition of a hipped roof lantern. A stone ledge is present on the south-west corner, and there is a doorway on the south side. Inside, the dovecot contains stone nesting holes and ledges. A datestone marked "WH 1803" is also present.
