Description
Manor House, dated 1700 with a restoration in 1900, is a coursed stone house featuring a steeply pitched hipped Collyweston stone roof. The building has a moulded string course at the level of the ground floor window heads and is designed in an H-shape, comprising two storeys and an attic with five bays, where the end bays project. It includes two-light moulded stone mullion windows and a moulded stone doorway located to the right of the centre. The centre of the ground floor features a Victorian splayed bay window. There are also two hipped dormers with cornices and ashlar ridge chimney stacks that have shafts and cornices. The interior has been modernised, with few original features remaining, though some chamfered ceiling beams can still be seen. Bishop Dove lived here in the 17th century.
