Description

Number 12 on Nene Way is a mid-19th century estate cottage. It is built from coursed rock-faced stone with ashlar quoins and features a Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with a right-hand projecting gable that includes a lean-to porch at the angle. On the ground floor, there is a stone oriel supported by a moulded stone corbel. The windows are two and three-light metal frame casements with lozenge panes and segmental arches. The building also has stone chimney stacks.
