Description
Number 1 Nene Way is a cottage that likely dates from the 17th or 18th century and was remodeled in 1888. It is constructed from coursed stone rubble and features a slate roof with gabled ends, along with a brick chimney stack at each end. The building has two storeys and a two-window range. The windows are modern casements with glazing bars, consisting of two lights on the first floor and three lights on the ground floor, all set beneath wooden lintels. Inside, there are ceiling beams. This building was formerly known as the Cross Keys public house.
