Description
The war memorial, located on Musters Road in West Bridgford, was constructed around 1920 and again in 1945, reflecting a 14th-century style. It is made of ashlar with concrete dressings and features bronze plaques on each side. The memorial stands on an octagonal plinth with a base that has a moulded top edge, foliate bosses, and inscriptions. Above this is a smaller base with additional plaques from 1945. The tapered shaft has a square base adorned with plaques and a wreath on the west side. At the top, there is a larger wreath with angels, and above that, a crocketed finial with gabled niches.
