Description

No. 20 Middlegate is a house, now used as a house and store, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a pantile roof. The building features plain eaves and two gable stacks. The windows have flat arches and there are three storeys with a two-window range of glazing bar sashes, with the second-floor windows being smaller. To the right, there is a chamfered round-headed doorway with a close boarded door. This building is part of a group that includes 15-21 Boar Lane and 18 Middlegate.
