Description

No. 28 St John's Hill is a house, now used for commercial purposes, dating from around 1730. It is constructed of brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building is two stories high and has a four-window range, with one bay on the left side that contains a 19th-century shop front with paired doors on either side of a window. The upper windows are four-pane sashes with flat-arched heads. There are rendered sill bands and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The gables are coped, and there is a stack at the gable end.
