Description

The former infants' school, dated 1840, is located on King Street in Newark on Trent. This single-storey building is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features both pantile and slate roofs. It has an L-plan layout and a parapet wall on the left side, along with a single rear wall stack. The façade includes a central panelled door with flanking panels, and the lintel above is inscribed with "Infants School" and the date. On either side of the door, there are wooden cross casements with glazing bars.
