Description
15, 17, 19 King Street are three houses that were built around 1820 and once included a shop. They are made of brick with stone dressings and have a slate roof. The buildings feature cogged eaves and two ridge stacks. The openings have splayed lintels. The houses are two storeys high and have a four-window range of plain sash windows, with the rightmost window replaced by a casement. On the ground floor, to the left, there is a sash window flanked by single doors. To the right, there is a door flanked on the left by two sashes and on the right by a 19th-century two-light shop window. The right gable facing Queen Street has a half-glazed door on the left and a close boarded door on the right, both with segmental heads. To the right of these doors is a smaller 19th-century shop window. Both shop windows have reeded surrounds.
