Description
Nos. 16, 18, and 20 King Street are three houses built in 1833. They are constructed of brick with stone dressings and have pantile roofs, with Nos. 16 and 18 featuring rendered ground floors. The buildings have splayed lintels and single gable and ridge stacks. The design is symmetrical, with a pair of houses on the right and an additional house on the left.
The houses are two storeys tall and have a five-window range. The central window is a plain sash, flanked on the left by another plain sash and a blank space. On the right, there are two glazing bar sashes. Below, on the left, there is a 20th-century door next to a plain sash. The symmetrical front on the right includes a central round-headed entry with a blank fanlight, imposts, and a keystone inscribed "C G 1833." On either side of this entry are single 20th-century doors, with a plain sash to the left and a glazing bar sash to the right.
