Description

The gate to the rose garden at Caunton Manor is an 18th-century garden gate and gate piers made of wrought iron. It features a pair of latticed square piers with curved braces and an elaborate scrolled foliate overthrow that includes a cartouche inscribed with the letter 'H'. The gates themselves are also made of scrolled wrought iron. This structure is included in the listing for its group value.
