Description
The boundary wall and gates at Caunton Manor date from the 19th century. The wall is made of brick and features stepped ashlar coping and intermediate buttresses. The gateway is designed with curved flanking walls and has two square brick piers topped with moulded stone capitals and lions. A pair of wrought iron gates completes the entrance. The wall stretches approximately 300 meters in length and is included in the listing for its group value.
