Description

The boundary walls at The Manor House comprise two sections, dating to the 18th and 19th centuries. They are built of coursed square rubble with fragments of ashlar, and feature flat, gabled, and moulded stone copings. The section along Castle Street is approximately 60 metres long and includes two blocked doorways and three quatrefoil openings, one of which is blocked. The wall along Priory Road has an incurve at the central gateway. This section is approximately 88 metres long and incorporates square piers with moulded caps, ball finials, and a pair of 20th-century iron gates.
