Description
This is an early 19th-century building, originally framework knitters' cottages, now serving as offices. It was restored around 1978. The building is constructed of squared dressed stone with a pantile roof and has an L-shaped layout. The main north front has a central doorway flanked by large 20th-century windows. Above these, there are three large Yorkshire sash windows, and to the right, a smaller, similar window. The gable ends are blank. The south front features a doorway on the left side, above which are three large Yorkshire sash windows. To the south, an adjoining single bay cottage has a plank door on its east side and a casement window to the right. A linked single-bay outbuilding to the south has casement windows on its east and west sides, and a close-boarded door on its north side. The building is included on the list solely for its group value.
