Description

The boundary wall and gate at number 2 is a 19th-century structure located on the north side of Station Street in Mansfield Woodhouse. The wall is built from coursed squared rubble and features gabled ashlar and half-round dressed stone coping. On the south side, there are a pair of panelled square gatepiers topped with pyramidal caps. To the right of the gatepiers, there is a 19th-century wicket gate designed in a 17th-century style. This wicket gate has a moulded round-headed opening with a hood mould and a stepped coped gable, along with a panelled door that is fitted with strap hinges. The wall extends approximately 150 meters in length.
