Description

The Market Cross in Mansfield Woodhouse, dating from the early 14th century, is constructed from dressed stone. It features a square plinth made up of four steps, supporting a moulded square base that carries the stump of a chamfered, broached octagonal shaft. This structure is also designated as an Ancient Monument.
