Description

The stable block at the rear of Number 11 is a stable range dating from the late 17th century and late 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared rubble and brick, featuring steep pitched gabled and lean-to roofs covered in slate and concrete tiles. The building has a single gable stack and consists of one and two storeys with five unequal bays arranged in an L-plan.

The east front includes a late 19th-century addition on the left with a door set in heavy stone jambs. To the right, there is a lean-to addition that features a pair of carriage doors with a timber lintel. Further to the right, a single bay section has a door and a blocked carriage opening that contains a sash window. The main range, to the right again, has a door recessed in a chamfered opening on the left, followed by two sash windows and a similar doorway. Beyond these, there is another sash window. Above, on the left, there is a casement window, and on the right, a door set in a chamfered opening.

An adjoining fragment of the boundary wall has flat stone coping and a doorway. The north gable features a sash window on the left, with a central casement window above it, and another similar casement window above that. Both casement windows have moulded ashlar architraves. A single-storey late 19th-century addition to the west has a hatch on the south side and two sash windows to the right.
