Description

A mid-19th century house, now used as a house and shop, located on Station Street in Mansfield Woodhouse. The building is constructed of ashlar and has a 20th-century Roman tile roof. It is two storeys high and has four bays, forming an L-shaped plan. The south front features a carriage entry to the left, with a timber lintel. To its right is a 20th-century shop window, followed by two sash windows. A door with ashlar imposts, a round head, and a fanlight is located to the right of the shop window, with a sash window beyond. Above, there are three sash windows. The rear elevation includes a lean-to wing to the left, a gabled rear wing to the right, a lean-to addition with a porch between them, and a carriage entry with an inserted window and door. Most windows are glazing bar sashes, with a mix of 19th and 20th-century fenestration throughout.
