LAXTON HIGH STREET (north side) Barn adjoining Holme View Farmhouse

25.7.80 II Threshing barn. Late C18. Raised and partly re-roofed C19. Brick with concrete tile roof. East side has pair of central barn doors with timber lintel and elliptical relieving arch. Flanked by 3 diamond breathers and above, 6 similar breathers. West side has similar central doors with timber lintel. To left, later C19 lean-to addition, and to right, late C19 gabled toilet block with 2 hatches to north. Above, to left, 2 breathers. Principal rafter roof with additional struts.
