Description
Lilac Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1748. It is constructed of brick and has a plain tile roof. The building features a first floor band, rebated eaves, and an eaves band. There are two gable stacks and the structure is two storeys tall with garrets, arranged in an L-plan with three bays. The ground floor and all front openings have segmental heads. The front windows are 20th-century casements. The south front has a central door flanked by single casements, and above it, there is a smaller central casement flanked by single casements. The west gable features a Yorkshire sash window in the garret and bears the date 1748. The rear wing includes a 20th-century casement and door on the west side, and above it, there is a Yorkshire sash window. Adjoining the farmhouse is a 19th-century stable, which is also made of brick with a pantile roof. This stable is single storey and single bay, with an entry on the west side and a stable door on the south side.
