Description
37 Victoria Street is a house built around 1840, constructed of brick with stone and stucco details and a slate roof. The building features a first-floor band, moulded stone eaves, and a single coped gable, along with three gable stacks. It has an L-shaped plan and is two storeys high, presenting a three-window range of glazing bar sashes that are topped with multi keystoned lintels. The central entrance has a moulded doorcase supported by curved brackets and a flat hood, leading to a moulded six-panel door with an overlight. This door is flanked by a pair of 20th-century four-light cross casements. At the rear, there is a wing with two glazing bar sashes, one of which has a segmental head.
