Description

Britannia Buildings is an early 19th-century house and shop, later altered in the late 19th century. It has a brick exterior and a concrete tile roof, with a single gable and single ridge stack. The building is two storeys high with garrets, and features a two-window front. The windows are renewed glazing bar sashes. An overpainted sign is positioned above the windows. At ground level, there’s a two-light plate glass shop window on the left, followed by a single similar window, and a door to the right. All these openings have plain surrounds and a continuous cornice, along with toplights. A 20th-century casement window is visible in the left gable’s garret.
