Description

Lane End is a house built in the mid-18th century with 19th-century additions. It is constructed of brick and features pantile roofs, cogged eaves, coped gables, and two gable stacks. The house has two storeys plus garrets and is designed in an L-shape with three windows. The central 19th-century gabled porch is colourwashed and contains a panelled door, flanked by single 20th-century gabled bay windows that have three-light casements. Above the porch are two 18th-century glazing bar sashes. To the south, there is a single-storey 19th-century addition, also made of brick with a pantile roof.
