Description
Holly House is an 18th-century house with a second floor added in the 19th century. It is constructed of brick with patterned headers, featuring a Welsh slate roof, stone sills, coped gables with kneelers, two brick gable stacks, two brick floor bands, and brick eaves. The house is three storeys high and has a three-window front, arranged in an L-shape. The central section has a moulded timber doorcase with a rectangular overlight and decorative brackets supporting a hood, containing a six-panelled door. Flanking the door are single 19th-century glazing bar sash windows. Above are three glazing bar sashes, all with segmental heads. Above this again are three further glazing bar sashes. The rear wing has 20th-century window replacements and other 19th and 20th-century alterations.
