Description
Nos. 82 and 84 on Station Street are a house dating from the early 18th century, which was refronted in the early 19th century. The building features snecked ashlar and dressed stone with a concrete tile roof. It has ashlar dressings, moulded eaves, and coped gables with kneelers. The structure is three storeys high and consists of three bays. The windows are 19th-century leaded casements.
The south front has an off-centre double panelled door set in a chamfered surround, supported by large scrolled foliate brackets for the hood. To the left of the door are two casements, and to the right is a single casement. Above the door, there are two more casements, with a slate sundial to their right, followed by another casement. Above these, there are three smaller casements, one of which on the right is partially blocked. The west gable features a half-round opening above a blocked window, while the east gable has a round opening above.
