Description

42A Calverton Road is a knitter's cottage that has been converted into a house. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of brick with a 20th-century pantile roof. The building features a rendered plinth and stands two storeys tall with two bays. The front of the cottage has a 20th-century door and a casement window on the left side. On the right side, there is a knitter's window with a segmental head. Above these, there are two large 19th-century casement windows. The rear of the building has been rebuilt and now includes 20th-century windows.
