Description

46A High Street is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and features a thatched roof with brick end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. On the ground floor, there is a small two-light casement window to the left and a four-light casement window to the right. Above, there is a similar two-light casement window over the left side and a three-light casement window in an eyebrow dormer above the right side, all with timber lintels. The entrance is located at the rear and is accessed through a 20th-century porch. Inside, the cottage has chamfered spine beams and an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer.
