Description

The male satyr statue, located 100 meters east of Newstead Abbey, is a Grade II listed structure from the early 18th century, likely created by John Nost. It is made of ashlar and lead and stands on a square pedestal with fielded panelled sides, a moulded base, and a cornice. The statue depicts a male satyr figure holding a ram and is approximately 2 meters high.
