Description

A pair of lacemakers’ cottages, now two houses, dating from the early 19th century, located on Derby Road in Beeston and Stapleford. The building is constructed of brick with gabled slate roofs, and features dentillated eaves and 2 gable stacks and one ridge stack. It is three storeys high and three bays wide. The windows are mainly 20th-century casements, with those on the first and second floors having segmental heads. Two late 20th-century flat-roofed porches have been added to the front, with the left porch flanked by a single casement, and the right a porch and a bow window. Above are three casements, and above that, six casements.
