Description
The tower of the Church of St. Michael is a 14th-century structure built of dressed stone. It features a chamfered plinth, a string course, and an eaves band, topped with a crenellated parapet. The tower has a square plan and consists of two stages. On the east side, there are two buttresses, while the west side has two diagonal buttresses and two setoffs. The first stage includes a restored 14th-century doorway on the east, which has dogtooth moulding and a hood mould. The south side has a blocked doorway, and the west side features a blocked chamfered lancet. Above this, on the east side, there is a late 14th-century ogee-headed double lancet with a square-headed reveal and hood mould. Higher up on each side, there are early 14th-century double lancets with cusped heads, chamfered reveals, and hood moulds.
