Description

A pair of gates dating from 1855, designed by John Shaw. The gates are made of cast and wrought iron, with scroll top designs carried on latticed iron piers. They are flanked by scrolled iron railing and two square panelled ashlar piers. A spearhead wicket gate is located to the left. These gates were originally at Wellington College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, and were relocated to this site in 1922.
