Description
South Lodge at Forest Hill House is a lodge built in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a canted hipped slate roof with stone hips and a plain eaves band. The building has two storeys and two bays, with a single large ridge and a single rear wall stack.
On the canted east end, there is a central door flanked by single casement windows, all of which are from the 20th century. The north side includes a three-light mullioned window, with a doorway in a recessed bay to the right. The gabled west front has two casements, one of which has a segmental head, and above these is a three-light mullioned window.
