Description

The Walrus is a house and shop dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble and brick, topped with a 20th-century pantile roof. The building features a single central ridge stack and has two storeys with two bays. The windows and doors have segmental heads. The central bay contains a glazing bar sash window, with a door featuring an overlight to the left and a mid-19th century pilastered shop front with a recessed door to the right. Above the shop front, there is a two-light casement window and a single glazing bar sash window.
