8/89 Outbuilding, cart- shed and barn at Collingthwaite Farm

Cartshed, outbuilding and barn. Early C19. Dressed coursed rubble, red brick. Corrugated roof to all but the barn which is pantile. 2 storey cartshed with 4 brick arches with stone imposts. To the right the outbuilding has a doorway, a single small casement, a doorway, and 2 small casements. Above, a single slatted opening with glazing bar overlight, a doorway, a single similar slatted opening, a blocked opening, a doorway and a single glazing bar casement. All openings have lintels, apart from the first floor doorways. All doorways have wooden doors. To the left is the slightly projecting gable of the two and a half storey barn with first floor blocked opening with lintel and 7 slit verntilators. The main front has a large archway with keystone, flush ashlar quoin surround and C20 wooden door. To the left is a doorway, above are 3 doorways, all with wooden doors. There are 15 slit ventilators. To the left is a lean-to. Included for group value only.
