Description
December Cottage is a mid-18th century cottage located on the south side of Low Street in East Markham. It is constructed of red brick, with some remnants of render and whitewash, and features a concrete pantile roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a central doorway that has a 20th-century door. This doorway is flanked by single glazing bar Yorkshire sash windows, which are set under segmental arches. Above the central doorway, there are two similar sash windows. To the left of the main structure, there is a lean-to that has a band continuing from the cottage. This lean-to includes a doorway with a wooden door and a single casement window to the left.
