Description

Rose Cottage is an 18th-century L-shaped cottage located on the south side of Back Lane in Egglescliffe. The building features two windows and has a one-storey back section alongside a two-storey, one-bay front. It has a gable end facing the road and is constructed from small red bricks. The roof is pantiled and includes a tall brick chimney at the rear, while another chimney is rendered. The cottage has Yorkshire sash windows and a plain boarded door, along with a lean-to extension at one end.
