Description

This is an 18th-century manor house, constructed in two phases. The older section on the left is built of small handmade brick. It has a slate roof that has been raised, with a brick wall built up above the original eaves line. The house features end chimneys and two modern dormers. The windows are tripartite sashes with glazing bars. A double door, dating to the early 20th century, is set beneath a bracketed hood.

The later section, built in the later 18th century, is two and a half storeys high and has three windows. It has a fairly steeply pitched pantiled roof with chimneys positioned centrally and to the right. This section is constructed of weathered brick, with soldier courses laid over the windows. The upper windows are blocked, except for one Yorkshire sash. First-floor sash windows have fixed upper lights, as do those on the ground floor to the left. There is a small pivoted window to the right. A six-panel door is accompanied by an oblong fanlight and bracketed hood. The rear elevation is blank.
