Description

White Cottage is a mid 18th century cottage located on Hagworthingham Manor Road. It features a construction of whitewashed mud and stud, brick, and some render, with weather-boarding at each gable apex. The roof is covered with pantiles and has overhanging eaves. There is a single red brick ridge stack. The cottage has a lobby entry plan and is a single storey plus garret, comprising four bays. The doorway has a plank door. To the left of the doorway is a single Yorkshire sash window, and to the right is a similar sash window with a single casement window on the far right. Attached to the right side of the cottage is a whitewashed brick lean-to, which includes a doorway with a stable door.
